  • Steve Yeager

    Director

    Steve Yeager is the Director of Asset Management at Jamestown..  Prior to joining Jamestown, Mr. Yeager served as Senior Vice President–Principal Investment Manager for Buchanan Street Partners.  Formerly with TMW Real Estate Group and Prudential Real Estate Investors for 17 years, he managed and provided direction and focus for the multi-disciplinary functions related to the entire acquisition process for those firms on a national basis.  Throughout his career, Mr. Yeager has pursued, acquired and managed over 12 million square feet of commercial real estate with a value in excess of $4 billion including retail, office, industrial and multi-use product..  Mr. Yeager is an active member in the Urban Land Institute and ULI’s Mentor Program and holds a Georgia Real Estate Salesman’s license.  He has an ABJ undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and a Master of Real Estate from Georgia State University.

  • Josh Callahan

    Senior Vice President

    Josh Callahan is a Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Jamestown.  Since joining the company in 2014, he has played an integral role in developing a strong Jamestown presence on the West Coast.  Prior to joining Jamestown, Mr. Callahan was a Project Manager at Wilson Meany LLC, where he worked on notable redevelopment projects including 140 New Montgomery, and the re-use of Naval Station Treasure Island.  Prior to Wilson Meany, he held development and finance roles with Community Housing Developers, a non-profit provider of low-income housing, and Catellus Development Corporation.  Mr. Callahan is a volunteer board member for the SF Market, San Francisco’s only wholesale produce market.  He received a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science from the Huntsman Program at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

  • Eric Hines

    Senior Vice President

    Eric Hines is a Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Jamestown.  His focus is on retail assets on the east coast.  Before joining the firm, Mr. Hines was Vice President, Acquisitions for Branch Properties where he was responsible for sourcing and underwriting value add grocery anchored retail product in the Southeast.  Prior to that, Mr. Hines worked as an Asset Manager at LaSalle Investment Management where he was responsible for asset level strategy and performance of over $1.4 Billion of office, retail and industrial assets totaling over 2.9 Million SF.  He received a Bachelor of Arts from University of Richmond in Finance and Leadership Studies and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University.

  • John Wilson

    Senior Vice President

    John Wilson is Senior Vice President at Jamestown.  Mr. Wilson's responsibilities include asset and fund management.  Since 2012, he has led teams across a range of retail, office and mixed-use properties, which currently include Ponce City Market and the Milk Studios Building.  Mr. Wilson has managed many of Jamestown’s New York properties including Chelsea Market until its sale to Google in March 2018.  He began his real estate career with Jones Lang LaSalle in Washington, DC, and later worked in the real estate financing group at Goldman Sachs in New York.  Mr. Wilson is affiliated with the Urban Land Institute and serves on the boards of the Meatpacking Business Improvement District and the Piedmont Park Conservancy, having previously served on the boards of the Long Island City Partnership and the Westminster Schools’ Alumni Board.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

  • Alex Bender

    Vice President

    Alex Bender is a Vice President of Asset Management at Jamestown.  Mr. Bender is primarily focused on assets in New York City.  Prior to joining Jamestown, he was a Vice President at Imperial Companies in New York.  Mr. Bender joined Imperial Companies after spending five years at SL Green Realty Corp., a New York based real estate investment trust.  At SL Green, Mr. Bender was a member of the acquisitions and investments group executing both direct real estate and structured finance transactions.  During his career, Mr. Bender has closed over $6.0 billion in debt and equity investments and was actively involved in the development of One Vanderbilt.  Prior to joining SL Green, he worked at ING Clarion Capital.  Mr. Bender graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

  • Christophe Farber

    Vice President

    Christophe Farber is a Vice President of Asset Management at Jamestown.  Prior to joining Jamestown, he was Vice President of The Yellin Company in downtown Los Angeles, and acted as Asset Manager for Grand Central Square and its iconic food hall Grand Central Market.  Previous to and simultaneous with his position at The Yellin Company, Mr. Farber operated MFI Consulting, with an emphasis on value-add food and beverage experiences.  His clients included Jamestown, L.P., Brookfield Properties, Consolidated Investment Group of Denver, Expedia, and Langdon Street Capital.  Mr. Farber began his real estate career as a Project Manager for Bettershelter, a boutique design and residential redevelopment company focused on Northeast Los Angeles.  Prior to real estate, Mr. Farber spent a decade making bad movies look good as an advertising copywriter in the motion picture industry.  Mr. Farber is licensed as a real estate broker in the State of California and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.  He received an Artium Baccalaureus in Religion from Princeton University.

  • Betsy Marger

    Vice President

    Betsy Marger is a Vice President of Asset Management and is primarily focused on New York assets. Ms. Marger joined Jamestown in 2012 as an Analyst where she learned the fundamentals of each department in the company. This provided a strong foundation that helped promote her towards an operations role where she managed third party architects and designers on Jamestown redevelopment projects. Prior to joining Jamestown, Ms. Marger fulfilled a personal goal of obtaining her Motor Vessel Captain’s license and worked aboard a large motor yacht. Ms. Marger received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a focus in economics and business. She is expected to complete her Master of Business Administration degree in December 2019 from Baylor University.

  • Remy Monteko

    Vice President

    Remy Monteko is a Vice President of Asset Management at Jamestown.  Ms. Monteko’s focus is on waterfront assets in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Prior to joining Jamestown in 2015, she was a Director in the Los Angeles office of HR&A Advisors, a real estate and economic development consulting firm, where she worked on a wide variety of redevelopment projects.  Ms. Monteko is an active member of Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders Group and on the City of Alameda’s Economic Development Advisory Panel.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Barnard College, Columbia University, a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a Master of Urban Planning from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.

  • Eric Spencer

    Vice President

    Eric Spencer is a Vice President of Asset Management at Jamestown.  He joined Jamestown in 2018. Mr. Spencer began his career with ACG Professionals where he coordinated due diligence projects, managed interns, and lead Argus training programs.  In 2009, he joined CW Capital Asset Management in Bethesda, MD as an Asset Manager of retail REO properties for two years.  After another stint at ACG Professionals doing business development, Mr. Spencer joined JLL in 2013 where he worked for over 5 years as a Vice President of Capital Markets, Retail Investment Sales, brokering the sale of multi-tenant retail shopping centers across the southeast.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Communications from Vanderbilt University.

  • J. Ben Gainey

    Senior Advisor / Asset Management

    J. Ben Gainey is a Senior Advisor of Jamestown.  Mr. Gainey has been a member of the Asset Management department for over 20 years, working on some of most complex mixed-use assets in Jamestown’s portfolio.  He has been focused on value creation in the following property types: urban office and retail primarily located in New York City, and suburban retail including grocery-anchored and power/lifestyle centers in major markets across the country.  Mr. Gainey previously worked for the Prudential Insurance Company of America for 15 years.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of West Florida and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Real Estate from Georgia State University.

  • Lisa Archer

    Senior Associate

    Lisa Archer is a Senior Associate of Asset Management at Jamestown. She is primarily focused on assets in the Atlanta metro area. Previously, Ms. Archer worked in product development and project management in the fashion and luxury goods industries in New York City. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate, with a concentration in Finance, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Susie Sherling

    Senior Associate

    Susie Sherling is a Senior Associate of Asset Management at Jamestown. Ms. Sherling is primarily focused on assets in New York City and Miami Beach. Prior to joining Jamestown, she worked on the acquisitions and subsequent leasing of luxury and fast fashion commercial retail assets for Crown Acquisitions, globally. Ms. Sherling joined Crown Acquisitions after spending five years at Knight Frank in London, UK, focusing on high-end residential sales in Prime Central London. She is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of New York. Ms. Sherling graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Leeds.

  • Steven Rudel

    Associate

    Steven Rudel is an Associate of Asset Management at Jamestown. Mr. Rudel focuses on mixed use and multifamily assets on the east coast. Prior to joining Jamestown in 2017, he was a Manager at Novare Group where he was involved in the accounting, finance, and asset management initiatives for the company’s portfolio of Class A multifamily assets. Prior to that, Mr. Rudel worked in the Real Estate Assurance practice at Deloitte, where he served publicly traded REITs and real estate private equity funds. He is licensed in Georgia as a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Mr. Rudel graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

  • Ryan Steen

    Associate

    Ryan Steen is an Associate of Asset Management at Jamestown. Mr. Steen focuses on office, retail, and multi-family assets in South Florida, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, and Atlanta. He joined Jamestown in 2014 and previously worked on office and retail assets in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Prior to Jamestown, Mr. Steen worked with ACG Professionals, a commercial real estate consulting group focusing on due diligence. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.
