John Thursby is a Vice President of Specialty Leasing, Ancillary Revenue at Jamestown. Prior to joining Jamestown, he was Director of Ancillary Revenue for North American Properties (NAP), managing the team that generates revenue through short-term and pop-up leasing, as well as advertising and sponsorship sales. Prior to NAP, Mr. Thursby served as Vice President of Leasing and Business Development for the Braves Development Company in The Battery Atlanta and Specialty Leasing Representative for Simon Property Group. Before entering real estate, his focus was on media advertising and sponsorship sales. Mr. Thursby’s notable accomplishments include helping secure the football stadium naming rights at the University of Central Florida in 2006, selling the first four-color ad in the 200-year history of the New York Post in 2001, and serving as the Assistant Director of Public Relations for the New York Yankees from 1995-1998. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University.
