Tim Perry is a Managing Director and the Chief Investment Officer at Jamestown, as well as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He is responsible for developing and leading the firm’s investment strategy. Mr. Perry has more than 25 years of experience in financial and investment-related positions. Prior to Jamestown, Mr. Perry joined North American Properties (NAP) in 2009 as Partner and Vice President of Acquisitions. Over the years, he has held various financial roles, including Director of Investments and Chief Investment Officer, before becoming Managing Partner of NAP’s Atlanta office in 2020. Mr. Perry was responsible for advancing the company’s strategy to acquire, reposition, and redevelop mixed-use communities. Under his leadership, the Atlanta subsidiary of NAP nearly doubled its assets under management over four years, partnering with institutional capital investors to invest in value-add, mixed-use, experiential properties. Prior to NAP, Mr. Perry worked at CBRE for a decade, ultimately reaching the position of Senior Vice President.

He is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia and involved in professional organizations, such as Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He serves as Chairman of True North 400 (formerly the North Fulton Community Improvement District), Interim Chairperson for Rehabilitation Enables Dreams (RED), where he has supported pre-trial diversion, restorative justice, and criminal justice reform initiatives, and Board Member of the Newport Southbank Bridge Co., Council for Quality Growth, the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, and Midtown Alliance. He has been recognized as a leader in the industry, including in Atlanta Magazine’s Atlanta 500; Georgia Trend’s 500 Most Influential State Leaders; and the Atlanta Business Chronicle's Most Admired CEOs. Mr. Perry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rhodes College.
